Papovirus-like Infection of Psittacines


A fatal systemic virus infection of psittacine birds and possibly finches. Focal hepatitis, myocarditis and nephritis with or without feathering defects and skin pigmentation have been recorded. "French moult" of budgerigars is thought to be a milder form of the same infection.
