Abstract

In a recently published paper I stated: “While manufacturers` advice concerning drenching of anthelmintics was for a time the same for goats as for sheep, no recommendations for goats are now made”. On checking with Mr D.E. Easingwood, Registrar, Animal Remedies Board, I learn that febantal and fenbendazole, under fseveral different trade names, are now registered in New Zealand as anthelmintics for goats.
