About SciQuest
SciQuest is an e-publishing capability developed by the New Zealand Veterinary Association (NZVA) to host and serve complete archives of scientific and continuing education publications in a fully indexed and searchable format.
Powerful search features offer super fast and flexible searching of titles and full text, integrated with indexes of subject, author, year, article and animal type, and an interface customised for users seeking specific information in a problem-oriented manner.
SciQuest also offers solutions to professional societies and organisations for converting printed archives into electronic format and hosting these on an integrated platform with other related information resources.
SciQuest specialises in veterinary, animal and agricultural science and continuing education
In the first instance, SciQuest is focused on creating a unique Australasian content-rich information resource for the veterinary, animal and agricultural science professions and communities. The first output was the complete archive of the New Zealand Veterinary Journal ONLINE and on CD-Rom. Everything is now online and access to the full text is available by subscription. New content is added to the live site as it is published.
SciQuest is a major collegial initiative, founded on the support and enthusiasm of many groups within the veterinary and animal science professions and related industries in New Zealand.
