Abstract: The annual veterinary behaviour symposium of the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists (dacvb.org), the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior (AVSAB), the European College of Animal Welfare and Behavioural Medicine (ecawbm.org), the European Society of Veterinary Clinical Ethology (esvce.org) and the 9th international veterinary behaviour meeting (which is held every two years and was in Lisbon, Portugal in September 2013) provide an opportunity for veterinary behaviourists, residents, and other behavioural scientists in North America and Europe and Australia to present their latest “cutting edge” research in the field. This seminar will share some of the research presented at these meetings. These presentations are often preliminary and not all will meet the criteria for future publication.
