Abstract: MSD is an acute adenovirus disease of pheasants characterized by nonlymphoproliferative hyperplastic splenic enlargement and sudden mortality (5-15%) apparently caused by anoxia following acute pulmonary oedema usually in 4 to 8 months old birds.
