Spatial Data and TB Management

Abstract: Spatial data at a fmle vel is available in the national database management system Agribase, which records details of rural enterprises as well as their spatial references. It was found that the spatial data available is sufficient for most of the envisaged disease management uses. The applications of spatial data that were tested required that a minimum of 85% of farms had spatial references.
