Abstract: The first paper of this two-part series (Martinovich and Smith, 1973) dealt with the clinical and pathological changes in cattle with so-called Kikuyu poisoning. In this second paper, epizootiological aspects of the disease are discussed. The data presented have been drawn mainly from the results of investigations into 32 outbreaks of Kikuyu poisoning on separate Northland farms during the period 1970 to 1972.
