Abstract: Over the last year or so, there have been two major veterinary matters which have undoubtedly shaped this Association`s current policy, and, because of their importance, I believe they may well continue to do so for many years. The first of these was some kindly meant criticism of the profession, concerning its failure, either to inform the public about veterinarians, capabilities, or to take a lead in society over matters within our specific interests
