Abstract: Ovine white liver disease (WLD) has been reported from New Zealand by Martinovich and Sutherland and a condition resembling WLD has recently been mentioned in this journal by Clark et al. A similar disease, called chronic hepatitis, has been described from Holland. We want to draw attention to a condition resembling WLD, and probably identical to chronic hepatitis in Holland, in lambs grazing certain cultivated pastures in the south-western part of Norway.
