Abstract: Over recent months 4 cases of arsenical poisoning in sheep dogs have been treated in this practice. While it has long been recognised that arsenic is a common cause of poisoning in domestic animals these cases have shown certain clinical and diagnostic features, which on the suggestion of veterinarians of Ruakura Animal Health laboratory, appear worth reporting. Of the cases presented 1 died and 3 recovered following treatment. One of the successful cases is described from which a range of diagnostic samples was obtained.
