Abstract: This year proprietors of metaldehyde-based products advised the Board that a material available from the United Kingdom, known as Alamask, was an effective animal repellent. The Board received the animal repellent studies conducted in the U.K. and also a few studies done in New Zealand. The board agreed that the information demonstrated adequate repellency (particularly for dogs) and has thus approved the material for incorporation into pelleted metaldehyde products…
