Abstract: Dr Sykes letter has alerted us to an error in our report on magnesium supplementation of lactating ewes. The daily dose of magnesium cholride administered to ewes was 12.5g not 125mg as stated in the printed paper. We accept responsibility for this mistake and apologise for the confusion this mistake has caused. With its correction we believe that the conclusions reached in the paper stand.
