Abstract:
Corrigendum: As Dr McKenna points out, there is an error in the article published in the December 2001 issue of the New Zealand Veterinary Journal (Vol 49, No. 6, pp 213-221) by A Vlassoff, DM Leathwick and ACG Heath, entitled, "The epidemiology of nematode infections of sheep". The first sentence in the first 124 New Zealand Veterinary Journal 50(3), 2002 column on page 219 should read, "McKenna (1981) showed there was a reasonable correlation (r=0.74) between FECs and worm burdens in lambs using the following FEC classes: ....". The word "mean" was errantly introduced into this sentence during editing before the abbreviation "FECs". The Editor apologises for this error and thanks Drs McKenna and Vlassoff for their clarification of the issues surrounding this statement.
