Abstract: The caption of Figure 6 in the paper by Black H, Evans MHD, Stone MA and Julian AF published in the New Zealand Veterinary Journal 52(2), 95–8, 2004, entitled, “Lip and gum lesions in sheep at two abattoirs in New Zealand” contains an incorrect description of scale. The caption should read, “bar = 500 µm” NOT “bar = 50 µm”. The corrected figure and caption are reprinted here.
