Abstract:

The paper by RA Laven and PR Wilson published in the New Zealand Veterinary Journal 59, 197–200, 2011, entitled, ‘‘Possible
subclinical hepatopathy after copper supplementation in farmed red deer’’, contained an error in the units used for the concentration of
Cu in serum (reported as mmol/mL), and activities of glutamate dehydrogenase (GDH) and gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT) in serum
(reported as IU/mL). The correct units should be mmol/L for the concentration of Cu in serum, and IU/L for the activities of GDH and
GGT in serum.
